Thanks to the construction of a 70,000 square foot addition to Denison's athletic complex, Denison now has an ideal training facility for intercollegiate squash. This facility includes four international courts, a 200 meter indoor track, a weight training room with Hammer Strength equipment, and a fitness facility.
We host two USSRA tournaments per year, participate in intercollegiate competition throughout the northeast, and involve students from all parts of the United States and from overseas.
Denison now supports an intercollegiate squash team that has grown steadily in the ranks over the past several years. In five years, the team moved from 33 to 7 in the country at the end of the 2000 season. In 1997 the team won the Barnaby trophy for most improved team and was a nominee once again in 2000.
